This Kit contains the Rubber Sub Mount / Frame Bracket
This is the Mount-Kit-Only - Frame bracket and sub mount. This SUB mount kit fits the OEM Billet and Forged Triple clamps. All stock handlebar mounting components are removed and discarded from the OEM triple clamps, including rubber cone mounting bushings if equipped. Eliminating the Stock rubber bar cones decreases possible distortion in the event of a crash. The supplied Rubber SUB mount adapter will sit on top of our unique aluminum "solid" mounted bar cone system. MED and SOFT compound bushings are provided for individual preferences. This SUB mount kit will raise the bars 24mm in height and locates the bars in Position 2 / 7mm forward from stock. The new design frame bracket consists of three parts. on most models, installation is done without removing the top triple clamp. Models equipped with a factory steering lock will require the locking device to be removed as it will not clear the damper mounting components. Removal of the steering lock does require the triple clamp to be taken off and then re-installed. Step by step pictured instructions are included along with all the necessary hardware.
The BRP Rubber Mounted SUB "Scotts Under Bar "Adaptor uses (8) Poly-Urethane bushings to isolate vibration and reduce rider fatigue by softening the harsh spike of hitting square edge rocks and obstacles. The kit comes with two different durometer bushings to fine tune the amount of vibration dampening.

This kit is designed to mount the Scotts Stabilizer below the handlebars using your OEM cast or billet triple clamp. The BRP Rubber Mounted SUB adaptor mounts to the existing rear bar mount holes and allows you to run in position 3 which is the most common and popular position.
SUB Mounting a stabilizer offers several benefits over the conventional "above bar" setup and has become the preferred setup for motocross, offroad, dual sport applications and taller riders.

"SUB" mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars, originally designed for raising the bars. These kits are designed for use with Oversize bars. "Bar reducers" are available as an option, to convert the kit to standard diameter bars, should that be desired. This concept allows more room for other equipment such as, Global Positioning Systems(GPS) or Enduro/Rally computers and yet still retain the quick access for adjusting the stabilizer. This is also good for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher, as it raises the bar location approximately 11-25mm, depending on the model of bike. In some cases, you might consider a lower bend handlebar bend at the same time, unless you are trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer installation.
